My Activity Tracking
My target 110 kms
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Darkness to Daylight Challenge!
In Australia on average 110 people die from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) every year.
I’m participating in Darkness to Daylight (D2D) - a 110km run - where each kilometre represents one of those lives lost. It’s a long distance, it’s physically and mentally demanding but knowing the funds raised go towards DFV prevention makes it all worth it.
I would very much appreciate your support because together we can end domestic and family violence.
Day 1: Kirra-Lea McLoughlinSaturday 1st May
The Journey BeginsFriday 16th Apr In recent months through conversations sparked by yet more death as a result of domestic and family violence, I have come to realise that is time for me to start DOING something instead of just talking. So I have decided to participate in D2D to raise awareness around this issue. Over the month of May I will be walking 110km and tracking my progress as I go. Please follow along and feel free to donate if you can, if you can’t that’s totally fine but please instead have a conversation around this issue with your friends or family, please instead if you see something say something. Together let’s show our support for all the unfathomably brave women and children who have faced this monster, and let’s shine a light into the dark! 🤍🤍 Share
