Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Darkness to Daylight Challenge!

In Australia on average 110 people die from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) every year.

I’m participating in Darkness to Daylight (D2D) - a 110km run - where each kilometre represents one of those lives lost. It’s a long distance, it’s physically and mentally demanding but knowing the funds raised go towards DFV prevention makes it all worth it.

Got my D to D shirt in the mail yesterday! I got out of bed and hopped straight on the treadmill this morning so my bed hair is at its very best! Haha! Please donate to myself and/or Team Walkie Talkie to help us stamp out DFV (Domestic and Family Violence).

Well Folks, I'm back for another year :)

You may remember I did this challenge last year along with some of my amazing work colleagues from the Queensland Ambulance Service - we were Team Walkie Talkie. Well Team Walkie Talkie is BACK! We've got some old and some new members and we're ready to lay downs some kilometres and to raise some serious money for this very worthy cause!

I'm not only walking for our fallen colleague Gail who was murdered by her Husband, but also for myself, family, friends and any other person (man, woman or child) who has been affected either directly or indirectly by Domestic and Family Violence. It's a national disgrace and it needs to end NOW!
