In Australia on average 110 people die from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) every year.
I’m participating in Darkness to Daylight (D2D) - a 110km run - where each kilometre represents one of those lives lost. It’s a long distance, it’s physically and mentally demanding but knowing the funds raised go towards DFV prevention makes it all worth it.

Day 1 / Step 1 - The Journey has begun!
Thursday 2nd May Stand together during Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month. Let's also take a walk and have a chat about DV as well.I don't know whether I will be able to make a daily blog but I will try to share a story or two. For today, it's a simple one - it's a commitment to this cause by signing up for the 110km overnight challenger that is happening in late May, as well as completing 110km over the month of May. To start this journey, I went for a bit of a walk/run at a nearby lake and notched up 6km. There are more KM's to go, so thank you for joining me on this journey. Share
