Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Darkness to Daylight Challenge!

In Australia on average 110 people die from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) every year.

I’m participating in Darkness to Daylight (D2D) - a 110km run - where each kilometre represents one of those lives lost. It’s a long distance, it’s physically and mentally demanding but knowing the funds raised go towards DFV prevention makes it all worth it.

I would very much appreciate your support because together we can end domestic and family violence.

Walking with kids....

Wednesday 4th May
So to give my 100% effort towards this goal and to pass my passion for helping others onto the next generation.. I decided to involve the kids. First half of the walk was all smiles and good times as we talked about our day and other things to pass the time, around the half way mark things turned ugly. Tears, yelling and open prays to God for this to end and that was just from me. By the time I finally saw the bright light of our front door it could not have come sooner. Let's just say in the future the walks with the kids I will keep for smaller k's and the longer ones for that quality me time that all parents deserve. Peace out by a dedicated D2D / Mummy Walker!
