This is for you Bianca 💜 missed forever

I am supporting the Qld Government’s Domestic and Family Violence Council’s ‘Walk and Talk’ team.  Open the lines of communication, let’s talk about the violence and help those who need it.

In Australia on average 110 people die from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) every year.

I’m participating in Darkness to Daylight (D2D) - a 110km run - where each kilometre represents one of those lives lost. It’s a long distance, it’s physically and mentally demanding but knowing the funds raised go towards DFV prevention makes it all worth it.

I would very much appreciate your support because together we can end domestic and family violence.

My Updates

For Bianca

Tuesday 10th May
My daughter, Bianca Faith Girven, was strangled to death by the man who should have been a protector, not her perpetrator. All murders are the absolute fault of those who commit them. However, I strongly support any change that we as a community can do. I want to raise money in memory of my Bianca, and every single other life lost due to murder. Bless you all.

Thank you to my Sponsors

We still have a photo of Bianca and Ziggy on our wall at YMYW. What an amazing job you have done Sonya to advocate so strongly in B’s memory. She would be so proud!
