Domestic and Family Violence is preventable.

People make a choice to engage in violent and abusive behaviour. Violence can be prevented when people change those choices.

We all know that making behavioural change of any kind is incredibly difficult. It takes education, understanding, social expectations,  awareness raising and many, many courageous conversations. People have to see the need for change and want to make it.

That’s why Challenge DV is working across workplaces and communities, and into schools - to engage current and future generations in making this change happen.

In Australia on average 110 people die from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) every year. Darkness to Daylight - a 110km run - where each kilometre represents one of those lives lost, is symbolic of the harrowing effects of DFV but also the long hard road to change.

I would very much appreciate your support to help us through the darkness out into the daylight - together we can end domestic and family violence.
